I purchased 4 cameras for my property, upon receiving them I did charge completely with the provided usb cables to ensure long battery life as should be done with all rechargeable items CHARGE COMPLETELY BEFORE 1st USE. Once installed I adjusted the motion detection sensitivity for each location. Setup was very easy with the brackets and all included screws and mount hardware. After a full charge I did install a 128mb sd card in each ( sd cards not included so be sure to order them at the same time you order your cameras) and then connected all of them to my WiFi network which was seamless. Picture quality is good not perfect as these are only 2K video if you are wanting better quality video buy the 4K version. Sound quality is ok for the talk back system but kind of muffled a bit. As far as functionality goes these do perform well and will get you a decent picture quality during the day. I do not have mine set to provide spotlight full color during the Night so nighttime video quality is not quite as good as it could be just due to my set up. I do like, however, the way these cameras interact and connect to my Amazon Alexa shows so I can view my cameras straight from those devices without having to go to my phone connectivity was really good and once adding ANRAN skill to my Alexa devices, everything worked seamlessly. I have tried other cameras in the past, but the. ANRAN cameras have so far in the best without having to invest in a higher price brand-name camera. I would suggest these cameras for someone looking to add a little bit of security to their house. However, if you are serious upgrade to the 4K version of this camera, and I believe you should be happy would have given this a five star review if this camera had a little better quality night vision but for a 2K they are pretty impressive.
